New Marina officially confirmed by Pattaya City Hall. Pattaya City hall has officially released to Tulip Group news of the shortly to be opened Pattaya Marina at Bali Hai Pier in South Pattaya.
The new marina which has been under construction since last year will have in total 350 marina berths & is due to be fully completed within the next 6 months.
The area has already seen a number of huge changes including a state of the art car park, & it is expected that the entire area will be upgraded & the boats that are currently in dry dock will be relocated to the marina other areas of the city.
The marina will be used by the city & privately for those who wish to rent a marina berth for their own use, with discussion ongoing regarding management of the facility.
This news is extremely satisfactory for Pattaya City, yet moreover Tulip Group, as their luxurious high rise condominium & 5 Star hotel Waterfront Suites & Residences will now benefit from astonishing views of this marina & the expected upgrade to entire area at the front of the project.

Pattaya, Thailand – Since its opening night on Friday 1st of February 2013, the Pattaya French Film Festival has been well received by both Thai & foreign attendees at the poolside terrace of dusitD2 baraquda Pattaya. Thailand’s first ever poolside film festival drew open its curtains on Friday 1st February 2013. To date, four of the eight renowned classic & contemporary French films have been screened for hundreds of French movie lovers.
The remaining two festival weekends will feature the final four, not-to-be-missed award-winning entries, which are:
• Two days in Paris (Friday 15 February)
• La fille de Monaco (Saturday 16 February)
• Le hussard sur le toit (Friday 22 February)
• Playtime (Saturday 23 February)
Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to see their favourite celebrities & faces as Roxy (host of the “2 days in Paris” film will be bringing quite a number of famous celebrities to watch the film & join their after party at the trendy Deep Bar of dusitD2 baraquda pattaya.
Four remaining French films will be shown on Friday & Saturday night for the next two weekends at dusitD2 baraquda pattaya’s poolside terrace at 8pm. Films are in French with English subtitles unless otherwise stated. No admission fee will be charged, guests will enjoy a selection of drink packages available on each occasion.
